Rick Straw is the President & CEO of PACIV, an international system integration and regulatory compliance engineering firm, founded in 1997, with offices throughout the United States, Ireland and Puerto Rico. Rick has over 32 years’ experience in the areas of process control systems, system integration, instrumentation, C&Q and CSV for the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices industries. Rick has consulted multiple BioPharma multinationals on project and corporate strategy for automation and computer system validation including being a presenter on one (1) CSV FDA inspection. Prior to joining PACIV in 2003, Rick held various positions as Process Control Engineer and Associate Consultant Engineer for ELANCO Animal Health and Eli Lilly & Company. Rick has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT’s) Sloan of Management Entrepreneur Development Program.
