With more and more biotech research and new technologies at the origin of the development of new products, protection with respect to functionality and sensitivity of the product is becoming a more important requirement to consider when defining a packaging solution. Sensitive product handling, integration of additional functionality in delivery systems, combination packs and barrier protection are leading to more specific and complex requirements of secondary packaging to protect the final product.
